University of Wah (UW) participated in the Vice Chancellors Industry Forum held at the FPCCI Conference Room, Islamabad, in collaboration with OIC-COMSTECH on 08 September 2026. Representing UW, Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director ORIC, and Mr. Aman Khan, Manager Placement, attended the high-level forum, which brought together academic & industrial leaders, higher education stakeholders, and government officials.
The platform focused on developing practical strategies to bridge academia-industry gap and promote technology-driven SME growth in Pakistan. UW delegation contributed to discussions on aligning academic research with industrial needs, strengthening direct faculty-industry linkages, and expanding student placement opportunities.
The session concluded with an official group photograph, marking a collaborative effort towards stronger partnerships between higher education institutions and industrial stakeholders.
