In February, the University of Wah Library will present Campbell Essential Biology by Simon Dickey as the Book of the Month. This book provides a clear and comprehensive introduction to fundamental biological concepts, making it highly beneficial for bioscience students. The session will be conducted by Ms. Bilqees Bano, Lecturer in the Bioscience Department, who will highlight the book’s key topics and academic importance.
The session is scheduled on 2nd February 2026 at 10:30 AM, offering students an excellent opportunity to strengthen their understanding of basic biology.
In November, the WECUW Library will feature Qomo ka Urooj-o-Zawal by Molana Abdullah Abadi as the Book of the Month. This insightful work explores the rise and decline of nations, highlighting lessons that remain relevant in today’s world. The sessions will be conducted by Ms. Balquees Begum, Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department, who will guide students through the book’s key themes and reflections.
The sessions are scheduled for 20th November 2025 (12:30 PM – 1:00 PM) and 5th December 2025 (12:30 PM – 1:00 PM) at the WECUW Library. Users are encouraged to attend and benefit from this thought-provoking discussion.
