University of Wah continues to promote international exposure and global engagement for its students. In this regard, Mr. Aroob Bin Habib, a BS Accounting & Finance student at UW Business School, represented the university at the Women in STEM Africa Summit 2026, held in Nairobi, Kenya, on 04 September 2026.
The summit, organized by WITIA in partnership with UNESCO and UNICEF, brought together students, professionals, innovators, and representatives from diverse institutions to promote women’s participation in STEM, innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, and inclusive opportunities.
The event provided participants with an international platform to showcase business ideas and innovations, exchange perspectives, engage with diverse participants, and explore innovative solutions for a better future. Mr. Aroob had the opportunity to interact with students and representatives from leading institutions, including the University of Nairobi, Strathmore University, Kenyatta University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), and United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa). Representing UW at an international platform in Africa shows the growing global engagement and confidence of UW students.
