Directorate of Academics

The Directorate of Academics, Advanced Studies, and Research (DAASR) deals with the academics of the University. It plans, drafts, and amends policies to facilitate the quality conduct of academic programs. Directorate looks into the educational matters of the University and its students and submits recommendations. DAASR facilitates the conduct of meetings of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) and the Academic Council of the University as per the notified statutory bodies’ meeting schedule. It is also responsible for reviewing curriculum revisions and schemes of academic programs at the University. DAASR works to improve the University’s academic standards by reviewing and monitoring educational procedures and providing guidance. Additionally, DAASR plays a liaison role between the University of Wah (UW) and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for the implementation of academic policies and ensuring regulatory compliance.
