Faculty members of Education Department, University of Wah, participated as resource persons in a seminar titled “Human-Centered Teaching in the Age of AI: Culturally Responsive Teaching, Self-Efficacy and Quality Interaction”, organized by Dr. Saima Shoaib, Asst. Professor, University of Education Lahore, Attock Campus, on 14 September 2026.
Dr Hakim Ullah and Dr Mehwish Jabeen, Assistant Professors, Department of Education, shared their expertise with undergraduate and M.Phil. students. The session focused on culturally responsive teaching, teacher self-efficacy, quality teacher-student interaction, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in education.
They highlighted the importance of inclusive and culturally responsive teaching, professional adaptability, and meaningful teacher-student relationships. They also discussed the potential of AI to support lesson planning, personalised learning, assessment and content development, while emphasising that technology should complement, rather than replace, the human element of education.
