Department of Biosciences, University of Wah, organized an academic session titled “Research Paper Writing: From Concept to Publication” on 15 September 2026 to strengthen the research and academic writing skills of students and researchers.
Prof. Dr. Shumaila Naz, resource person, guided participants through the key stages of developing a research idea into a well-structured and publishable research paper. The session covered research question formulation, literature review, manuscript organization, presentation of findings, citation practices, and selection of suitable journals.
Emphasizing clarity, originality, scientific rigor, and research ethics, Prof. Dr. Shumaila Naz also shared practical guidance on reviewing and successfully submitting manuscripts for publication. The session provided participants with valuable insights into effective scientific writing and contributed to promoting a stronger research and publication culture within the department.
