A delegation from 3POL Pvt. Ltd., a sister company of the Rapidev Group of Companies, visited University of Wah on 08 January 2026 to explore academia–industry collaboration. The delegation, led by Mr. M. Kashif Shafi, Head of Operations, and Mr. Malik Muhammad, Sales Executive, was received by Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director, Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), and Mr. Aman Khan, Manager Placements.
Discussions focused on building sustainable partnerships to advance applied research, innovation, and student development. Mr. Kashif Shafi highlighted 3POL’s work in sustainable energy-efficient products and power management and expressed interest in supporting the University of Wah in power management and sustainable energy utilization initiatives. Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan appreciated 3POL’s commitment to sustainability and emphasized the importance of bridging academia and industry. He proposed collaboration through Final Year Projects addressing industrial R&D challenges, student internships at 3POL and Rapidev Group companies, and industry participation in the University’s Open House & Job Fair for talent scouting, project commercialization, and graduate recruitment.
Mr. Kashif Shafi endorsed the proposed initiatives and invited Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan to visit the Rapidev facility. The Director-ORIC accepted the invitation and formally invited Mr. Wajid Gulistan, Head of the Rapidev Group of Companies, to visit the University of Wah. Both parties agreed to review proposals to finalize a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a step toward a long-term partnership to enhance practical education and industry-relevant innovation.
