UW Business School, University of Wah, organized comprehensive orientation sessions on 05 March 2026 to guide undergraduate students regarding the policies, procedures, and academic requirements related to the Internship and Final Year Project (FYP). The purpose of the sessions was to clearly communicate the policy framework, explain procedures for undertaking internships and FYP, and provide detailed guidance on report writing. Students were also informed about the objectives, significance, and assessment criteria associated with these important academic components.
During the sessions, Dr. Sania Arif, Head Placement and Focal Person, provided a detailed briefing on the overall process. She explained the step-by-step requirements for completing the internship and FYP, including what students need to do, how the tasks should be performed, and the timelines for completing each stage successfully. To ensure effective interaction and better understanding, separate orientation sessions were arranged for BBA-8, BSAF-8, BBA-6, BBA-5, BSAF-6, and BSAN-6 classes, with one class attending each session. This approach enabled students to ask questions and receive program-specific guidance in an interactive environment. Students were also encouraged to maintain regular communication with their assigned supervisors throughout the internship and FYP process to ensure timely progress and proper academic guidance.
The initiative shows the continued commitment of UW Business School to provide structured academic support and practical direction, helping students complete their internship and final-year research projects while preparing them for professional careers.
