Directorate of Quality Assurance & Enhancement (QA&E), University of Wah, has achieved an exceptional score of 97.37% out of 100 in the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) Scorecard for the Yearly Progress Report (YPR) 2023-24. The HEC rated the University’s performance as Meeting Maximum Parameters Satisfactorily (MMPS). This outstanding result shows the University’s steadfast dedication to academic excellence and its ongoing efforts to enhance institutional quality assurance mechanisms.
This year’s milestone represents one of the highest scores ever achieved by the University, showcasing consistent progress and a strong commitment to upholding national quality standards. The assessment covered a broad range of indicators, including Institutional Performance Evaluation, Program Self-Assessment, Accreditation of Programs, Postgraduate Program Review, Functioning of the QA&E Directorate, and the implementation of HEC Quality Assurance Policies such as the Good Evaluation Practices (GEP-2023), Plagiarism Policy, and Faculty Appointment Guidelines.
