Department of Education organized a professional development training session titled “Teachers’ Professional Development: From Teaching Content to Developing Learners” on 07 October 2026. The session focused on learner-centered teaching and the evolving role of teachers in developing students’ knowledge, skills, confidence, engagement, and overall potential.
The resource persons, Ms. Sadia Zulfiqar, Ms. Tabinda Behram (NOVA City Education System, Wah Cantt), and Dr. Jan Alam, Chairperson, Department of Education, shared valuable insights and practical perspectives. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, appreciated the efforts of the department and encouraged continued professional growth.
Students and alumni from far-flung areas also participated through the online link, extending the learning opportunity beyond the campus. A Certificate Distribution Ceremony was also held to acknowledge the valuable contributions of the resource persons.
