UW Business School organized an educational industry visit to Hydropak International (Pvt.) Ltd. on 27 June 2026 for the students of BS Accounting and Finance under the supervision of Dr. Farhan Shahzad, Lecturer, UW Business School. The visit aimed to improve students' practical understanding of accounting, financial management, and business administration by connecting classroom learning with real-world industrial practices.
During the visit, the management of Hydropak International (Pvt.) Ltd. warmly welcomed the students and delivered a comprehensive briefing on the company's organizational structure, accounting and financial systems, operational processes, administrative procedures, and quality management practices. Students also received an overview of the company's manufacturing operations, internal controls, and business processes, offering useful information about contemporary corporate practices and industry standards.
The industry visit proved to be a highly enriching learning experience, enabling students to strengthen their practical knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of how accounting and finance concepts are applied in a professional industrial environment.
