Department of Psychology, University of Wah (UW), organized a Stress Management Awareness Session at the UW Girls Hostel on 23 June 2026. The session aimed to enhance students’ awareness of stress, its effects on mental and physical well-being, and effective strategies for managing stress in academic and personal life.
Ms. Aaisha Shoukat and Ms. Rizwana Samreen, both lecturers, served as the resource persons for the session. They highlighted the causes and symptoms of stress and emphasized healthy coping mechanisms, time management techniques, relaxation exercises, and the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle for overall well-being.
Students actively participated in discussions and shared their experiences, making the session interactive and informative. The activity enabled participants to develop a better understanding of stress management practices and encouraged the adoption of positive strategies for maintaining mental health. The session concluded, contributing positively to students’ personal growth, emotional resilience, and overall well-being.
