Department of Biosciences, University of Wah, organized a two-day workshop titled “Safe Laboratory Practices and Research Skills” on 21- 22 May 2026, at Lab Complex as part of its capacity-building initiatives.
The workshop was conducted by Prof. Dr. Shumaila Naz to equip students and young researchers with essential laboratory and research skills. Sessions covered laboratory safety protocols, handling laboratory equipment, experimental design, data recording and analysis, and introductory research methodology.
The workshop emphasized safe and ethical research practices while helping participants strengthen their practical laboratory competencies and research understanding. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session followed by certificate distribution among the participants.
