University of Wah (UW) Business School organized the Business Solution Competition (BSC) 2.0-2026 on 21 January 2026, reaffirming its strong commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and experiential learning. The event drew an overwhelming response, attracting over 700 12th-grade students from 135 colleges nationwide, reflecting the competition’s growing reach and academic impact.
The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Un Nabi; Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad; Director ORIC Dr. Amjad Hussain; and Chairperson, Department of Management Sciences Dr. Nasir Mahmood, along with faculty members from various departments. The Chief Guest, Mr. Gul Najam Jamy, Senior Social Protection Specialist at the World Bank Group, South Asia Region, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the importance of sustainable, inclusive, and impact-driven business solutions to address contemporary socio-economic challenges.
A distinguishing feature of BSC 2.0-2026 was its entirely student-led organization. From event planning, invitations, and coordination to case conduction and competition management, UW Business School students demonstrated exceptional analytical capabilities, leadership skills, teamwork, and a profound sense of responsibility, which contributed to the event’s outstanding success.
The competition provided a dynamic platform for students to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills while promoting inter-institutional collaboration. In addition, career counseling sessions were conducted for participating students to help them explore their interests, identify strengths, and understand suitable professional pathways.
