The ORIC Placement Office, University of Wah (UW), in collaboration with the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), organized a seminar titled “Entrepreneurship: Together We Build” as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week on 06 January 2025. The event aimed to inspire students to pursue innovation and entrepreneurial ventures.
Mr. Ch. Nadeem A. Rauf, former RCCI President and the resource person for the event, shared his personal entrepreneurial journey and emphasized the importance of transitioning from job seekers to job creators. He highlighted the resilience required in entrepreneurship, sharing success stories like Savour Foods, and offered practical guidance during an interactive Q&A session.
At the end of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director- ORIC, thanked the guest speaker and reassured UW’s support for student entrepreneurs, noting that ORIC can facilitate connections with RCCI for further mentorship. The session ended with a shield presentation and group photograph. Several students later shared their business ideas with Mr. Rauf, who commended their creativity and potential, signaling a bright future for entrepreneurship at UW.
