Department of Biosciences, University of Wah, organized a Climate Change Awareness Walk on 06 January 2026 with active participation from students and faculty members. The initiative aimed to promote environmental responsibility and highlight the growing global challenges associated with climate change.
The walk focused on raising awareness of major climate issues, including global warming, melting glaciers, water scarcity, extreme weather events, and biodiversity loss. Participants carried banners bearing messages such as “Save Earth, Save Future,” “Act Now for Climate,” and “Protect Nature, Protect Life,” reinforcing the importance of sustainable living. The awareness walk encouraged environmental consciousness and collective action, reaffirming the UW’s commitment to sustainability and a greener future for generations to come.
