University of Wah organized an orientation session on 16 October 2025 to welcome its newly admitted students for the Academic Year 2025-2026. The event aimed to familiarize freshmen with the University’s academic framework, support services, and vibrant campus culture—marking the beginning of their academic journey at UW.
Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, warmly welcomed the incoming students in his address. He emphasized the importance of academic excellence, innovation, and personal growth, encouraging students to explore their passions and make the most of the University’s facilities and learning environment. He also urged the need to uphold moral values, discipline, and ethics alongside education, inspiring students to embody integrity and responsibility in all aspects of university life.
Dr. Imran Raees, Controller of Examinations, briefed students on the University’s examination system, outlining key policies, procedures, and assessment mechanisms. He also addressed students’ queries to ensure transparency and clarity regarding the evaluation process. Moreover, Engr. Waqas Javed, Deputy Director, Student Affairs, provided an overview of the Directorate’s role in fostering student engagement and holistic development. He highlighted the wide range of student societies, extracurricular opportunities, and welfare initiatives designed to enrich the overall university experience. The session concluded on an inspiring note, setting a positive and motivational tone for the freshmen as they embark on their academic and personal growth journey at the University of Wah.
