Department of Education, University of Wah, organized a thematic symposium titled “From BS to B.Ed. (Hons.): Redefining Teachers, Redefining Futures” on 17 September 2025. The event brought together alumni, students, faculty, parents, and stakeholders in a collaborative and insightful forum.
The symposium highlighted the transition from BS Education to B.Ed. (Hons.) as a significant step in teacher professionalization, aligned with national and international standards. Speakers highlighted the importance of the degree as a teaching license, its relevance to career opportunities, and the department’s vision of becoming a center of educational excellence.
