Dr. Haris Masood, Chairperson of Electrical Engineering Department, Wah Engineering College, as per the nomination by the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), participated in a two-day faculty training session on "Use of Generative AI in Higher Education," held from 22-23 May 2025, at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore.
The program, organized by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), explored the use of tools like ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Gemini in teaching, curriculum design, assessment, and research. The training emphasized practical, ethical, and innovative applications of AI in academia. Dr. Masood’s participation aimed to support the University’s commitment to digital transformation, enabling faculty to create more interactive and personalized learning experiences.
