Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Wah (UW), participated in the Women Empowerment and Wellness Conference (WEWCON 2025), held on 23 May 2025, at the IFQ Hotel, Islamabad. Organized by Syntax Health Projects, the conference brought together representatives from academia, civil society, and the development sector to explore key themes around wellness, empowerment, and sustainable development.
Under the leadership of Dr. Sania Arif, lecturer and focal person for SDG engagement, a team of research students and high-achieving female scholars represented the University. They actively contributed to discussions on gender equality, youth empowerment, and well-being, demonstrating strong academic insight and leadership.
UW’s participation underscores its ongoing commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
