Department of Economics, University of Wah, welcomed a study visit by students and faculty from WAPDA Postgraduate College, Tarbela Dam Project, on 23 May 2025. The visit was organized in collaboration with the Directorate of Student Affairs. Dr. Asma Arif, Chairperson, Economics Department, gave an insightful presentation on academic programs, research, and institutional linkages. The delegation showed great interest in the department’s facilities and academic environment.
Dr. Anila Tabassum, Principal, Mashal Degree College, emphasized the importance of academic collaboration and encouraged future joint initiatives. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the presentation of a commemorative shield to Dr. Arif by Mr. Nasir, lecturer at WAPDA Postgraduate College. Faculty from both institutions also held a productive meeting to explore opportunities for research and long-term collaboration.
