Department of Islamic Studies, University of Wah, organized an Ashra Rehmat-ul-Alameen ﷺ Seminar and Competitions on 08 and 09 September 2026, as part of the country-wide Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ program for observance during Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 AH / 2026 AD, with participation from college and Madaris students of Wah Cantt.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome note by Prof. Dr Muhammad Rizwan, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities. The seminar based on the theme “نسل نو کا تحفظ، تعمیر اور کردار، سیرت النبی ﷺ کی روشنی میں”, highlighted the importance of nurturing the younger generation through the teachings, character and exemplary life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Mr. Hashir Zubairi, Co-founder and Chief Executive, Unity International School, Islamabad, was the guest speaker. The event also featured Qirat, Naat, and Quiz Competitions, providing students an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, abilities, and understanding of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
At the end, prizes and certificates were distributed among the participants, followed by the presentation of a shield and a group photograph. The program provided students an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and reflect upon its relevance to personal character, moral development, and responsible conduct.
