The Directorate of Media & Publications (DMP), University of Wah (UW), organized a special podcast series on “The Impacts of War” on 07 September 2026, bringing together distinguished experts to examine the multifaceted consequences of armed conflict from social, psychological, economic, technological, and ethical perspectives.
The podcast featured Prof. Dr. Taj Akhtar, International Islamic University Islamabad; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, Chief Psychologist, University of Wah; Dr. Majid Hussain, Associate Professor of Anthropology, Bahria University Islamabad; Dr. Muhammad Yasir, Associate Professor, Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad; and Dr. Aamer Hafeez, Assistant Professor, FAST-NUCES Islamabad.
The discussion highlighted far-reaching effects of war on individuals, communities, economies, and societies.
