Department of Biosciences, University of Wah, organized a webinar on the "National Agriculture Research System of Pakistan" to enhance awareness of modern agricultural research and technologies on 21 July 2026. The event was coordinated by Dr. Razia, Assistant Professor, Department of Biosciences, and focal person for the University of Wah-PARC MoU.
The session was delivered by Dr. Falak Naz, Director, Institute of Plant and Environmental Protection, National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), Islamabad. Addressing students and faculty members, Dr. Naz provided an overview of Pakistan's National Agricultural Research System and highlighted recent advancements in agricultural technologies and their practical applications.
The speaker discussed modern approaches to crop improvement, stress tolerance, disease resistance, and yield enhancement, emphasizing their role in strengthening sustainable agricultural practices.
