University of Wah organized a Completion Certificate and Appreciation Award Distribution Ceremony on 08 July 2026 at the Vice Chancellor’s Office to recognize faculty members for the completion of research projects carried out under the POF–UW Research Collaboration Committee.
Dr. Sohaira Ahmed, Principal Investigator from the Department of Electrical Engineering, was recognized for completing the project titled “Interfacing of HMI with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).” Dr. Shaista Taimur, Principal Investigator from the Department of Chemistry, was honored for the successful completion of the project titled “Design and Development of Conductive Flooring for Handling Areas with Enhanced Properties of Durability, Ductility, Smoothness, Aging Resistance, and Easy Cleaning Process.”
The Principal Investigators received Completion Certificates, Appreciation Certificates, and cash awards in recognition of their outstanding research achievements. Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, presented the awards and commended the dedication and research excellence of the faculty members and appreciated their valuable contributions toward strengthening research collaboration between Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POFs) and the University of Wah. Brig Shajee Ullah Quadri Ameem (Retd), Registrar, University of Wah, also attended the ceremony. The ceremony concluded with congratulations for the award recipients and best wishes for their ongoing success in research and innovation.
