The seventeenth meeting of the Board of Governors of the University of Wah was held on 19 December 2025 under the chairmanship of Maj. Gen. Kashif Azad, HI (M). In addition to the members of the Board from the Pakistan Ordnance Factories and the University, the attendees included Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Chairman PHEC (online); Mr. Syed Naveed Hussain, Nominee HEC (in person) and Mrs. Zahida, Additional Secretary Private Universities, Nominee HED (online).
Maj. Gen. Kashif Azad, HI (M) lauded the efforts and teamwork of the University’s management in fulfilling its commitment to impart quality education and promote a research culture. He assured the continued support of the Pakistan Ordnance Factories to the University. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, in his report to the Board, briefed the members on the salient academic and administrative milestones achieved by the University during the last academic year. The members deliberated and conveyed their decisions on all agenda items presented for consideration. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants.
