Department of Mechanical Engineering, Wah Engineering College, University of Wah, organized a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar on 02 December 2025, centered on the “Do’s and Don’ts of an Industry Professional Career.” The session aimed to equip students and faculty with practical tools and invaluable insights to navigate professional life, excel in their careers, and contribute effectively to the industry.
Dr. Azhar Munir, former Director of Technologies and Services at the National Computing Authority (NCA), was the resource person. During the seminar, he shared his extensive experience and expertise, offering practical guidance on essential professional skills, workplace etiquette, and strategies to avoid common pitfalls. Participants gained firsthand knowledge about effective communication, career planning, and maintaining professional integrity in dynamic industrial environments. Faculty members and students, who actively engaged in discussion and a lively Q&A session, attended the seminar. In recognition of his contribution, Dr. Shahab Khushnood, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, presented a shield to Dr. Azhar Munir as a token of appreciation.
