The University of Wah signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Shubban Educational Forum (SEF), Youth Club (YC), and NETS International during a formal ceremony held at University on 26 February 2026. The event was attended by senior university leadership, representatives of partner organizations, and focal persons from relevant departments. Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director ORIC, University of Wah, welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of strategic collaborations in strengthening academic excellence, character development, and industry linkages.
Collaboration with Shubban Educational Forum (SEF)
The MoU with SEF aims to promote educational initiatives under the “Youth Tarbiyyah Module.” The collaboration focuses on enhancing the moral and spiritual development of teachers and students by deepening their understanding of the teachings and exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The SEF delegation joined from Lahore and included Muhammad Usman Arif, Executive Director SEF; Mian Aasim Qayyum, Ex-Deputy Director Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan and Member SEF Advisory Board; and Ch. Hassan, Board Member SEF and Head of SEF Student Department.
During the ceremony, Mr. Usman Arif shared insights from his previous sessions at University and appreciated students’ strong interest in Islamic teachings and guidance. Mr. Aasim Qayyum emphasized the importance of nurturing faith and engaging students in constructive activities that positively impact society.
The MoU was formally signed by Brig. Shajee Ullah Qadri Ameem (Retd.), Registrar, University of Wah, and Mr. Muhammad Usman Arif, Executive Director SEF, on behalf of their respective institutions.
Partnership with Youth Club (YC)
The MoU with Youth Club focuses on developing well-balanced individuals who excel professionally while fulfilling their religious and social responsibilities. Youth Club works to promote character building, community engagement, and spiritual development among youth.
The organization is led by Raja Zia ul Haq, President/CEO of Youth Club and a renowned motivational speaker. Representatives attending the ceremony included Waqas Javed (Abu Saad), Operations Manager & Dawah Head - YC North Region, and Muhammad Talha Iqbal, Manager, YC Islamabad Head Office. Mr. Abu Saad highlighted that Islam provides a comprehensive and balanced way of life and emphasized the vital role of teachers in guiding students through structured mentorship and moral development.

Strategic Collaboration with NETS International
The University also signed an MoU with NETS International to strengthen academia–industry collaboration. The partnership will facilitate internships, job placements, and practical industry exposure for students, particularly for high-performing graduates.
Representing NETS International, Muhammad Nadeem, CEO NETS (APAC), joined the ceremony online from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while Fozia Qadir, Board of Directors & Head of HR Eastern Region, joined virtually from Islamabad. Mr. Nadeem expressed keen interest in engaging University of Wah students in technology-based projects and internship opportunities, while Ms. Qadir highlighted the organization’s ongoing collaborations with institutions in the Wah Cantt region.
The MoU was signed in person by Prof. Dr. Adnan Tariq, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, University of Wah, and online by Mr. Muhammad Nadeem, CEO NETS (APAC).
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of souvenir shields to the distinguished guests, reassuring the University of Wah’s commitment to building meaningful partnerships that contribute to academic growth, character development, and professional advancement for its students and faculty.
