University of Wah (UW) held its 13th Convocation on Thursday, 27 November 2025, at UW Auditorium, marking a momentous milestone in celebrating the achievements, dedication, and perseverance of its graduating students. Major General Muhammad Kashif Azad, HI (M), Director General (Commercial), Pakistan Ordnance Factories, Wah Cantt, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was attended by renowned academicians, senior officials, faculty members, industry representatives, graduates, and their proud families. For the first time in the history of University of Wah, 9 students received their Doctor of Philosophy degrees. In addition, 312 MS and 880 BS students graduated from UW in 2025.
In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated the graduates on their academic success and urged them to use their knowledge, skills, and values to promote Pakistan's prosperity and serve humanity. He commended the University of Wah for its progress in research, modernization, and strengthening academia-industry linkages. Appreciating the contributions of faculty and parents in shaping future leaders, he encouraged graduates to pursue lifelong learning and contribute responsibly as ambassadors of their alma mater.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, in his inaugural address, welcomed the distinguished guests and extended sincere felicitations to the graduating class. He highlighted the University’s continuous efforts to enhance academic quality, research capacity, and industry-aligned education, ensuring the development of ethical, innovative, and globally competitive professionals. He reaffirmed UW’s dedication to excellence and strategic growth to meet emerging national and global challenges. The Vice Chancellor congratulated the graduating students and their parents on this auspicious occasion.
The convocation is a testament to UW’s firm commitment to nurturing competent, principled, and forward-thinking graduates prepared to lead and contribute to a progressive future. A total of 1201 students from the Faculties of Basic Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Sciences, Social Sciences & Humanities were awarded degrees. To honor exceptional performance, 43 graduates received Gold Medals, while 05 distinguished students - one from each faculty - were presented with Distinguished Student Medals.
