Department of Economics, University of Wah, participated in the 1st All Pakistan Economics Competition (APEC) at the undergraduate level, organized by the Young Economists Society, Department of Economics, Government Graduate College Jaranwala, online on 02 May 2026.
Dr. Sania Shaheen, Chairperson, Department of Economics, was invited to serve as a judge for the competition. Her participation shows the department’s continued engagement with national academic initiatives and its commitment to promoting excellence in the field of economics. The competition brought together undergraduate teams from across Pakistan, who presented innovative ideas and research-based solutions addressing a variety of contemporary economic challenges. The presentations were assessed according to established evaluation criteria, with judges offering detailed and constructive feedback to all participants.
