Students from University of Wah (UW) actively participated in the PINTECH Expo 2025, held at the Expo Centre in Lahore on 21 April 2025. The event, centered on innovation, research, and industry-academia collaboration, was organized by the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) in partnership with the Higher Education Department (HED). Six student projects from UW, representing the disciplines of Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science, were shortlisted through a rigorous evaluation process. These projects showcased the University's commitment to cutting-edge research and practical innovation. Faculty members Mr. Muhammad Azeem, lecturer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Naeem Younis, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, were nominated by the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) to mentor and support the participating students throughout the event.
UW’s stall attracted significant attention from academicians, industry professionals, and fellow students, who commended the creativity, relevance, and potential impact of the displayed projects.
