University of Wah (UW) has secured the 476th position globally among 2,016 participating universities in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026, marking further progress in the University’s sustainability and green campus initiatives.
In the national rankings, UW has secured 16th position among 139 universities in Pakistan, while achieving 9th position among universities in Punjab and 9th among private-sector universities across Pakistan.
The achievement shows the collective efforts of University’s management, faculty, staff, and students in promoting environmentally responsible practices and sustainable campus development. UW remains committed to strengthening green initiatives, promoting environmental stewardship, and advancing sustainable campus development in line with global sustainability objectives.
