Faculty members from Department of Education, University of Wah (UW), Pakistan, participated in the 2nd International Digital Education Conference (IDEC 2026) hosted by INTI International University, Malaysia, on 24 September 2026. The conference brought together educators and researchers to exchange perspectives on digital education, artificial intelligence, innovative technologies, and the future of learning.
Representing UW, Dr. Hakim Ullah and Dr. Mehwish Jabeen, Assistant Professors, Department of Education, participated as International Visiting Scholars at INTI International University, engaging with international academics and researchers. During the engagement, INTI International University presented souvenirs to both UW faculty members as a gesture of appreciation and academic goodwill.
The conference also featured online presentations of research papers by UW researchers. Dr. Hakim Ullah and Maria Afzal presented “Effectiveness of Digital Interactive Learning Tools for Developing Socio-Emotional Regulation at Elementary Level in Wah Cantt,” while Dr. Mehwish Jabeen and Mehwish Jabeen presented “The Role of Teachers in Addressing Learning Poverty and Digital Literacy Challenges in Remote Areas of Wah Cantt.” The presentations highlighted contemporary educational issues, including digital learning, socio-emotional development, learning poverty, and digital literacy.
