University of Wah Business Incubation Center (UWBIC), Directorate-ORIC, organized a mentorship workshop for its startup, Aerovolt Systems, on 21 September 2021, focusing on Organizational Management and Team Development.
Dr. Sania Arif, Lecturer, Department of Management Sciences, conducted the session and discussed workplace ethics, effective team development, managing organizational challenges, addressing workplace toxicity, and fostering a positive work environment. Emphasizing the theme “We Grow Together,” she highlighted the importance of aligning individual efforts with an organization’s vision and developing a sense of shared ownership and commitment. Engr. Shehzad Khan, CEO & Founder of Aerovolt Systems, along with his team, actively participated in the session.
An interactive Q&A session provided participants an opportunity to discuss workplace concerns, including bias, recognition of efforts, and dealing with negativity. Dr. Sania offered practical guidance on addressing such challenges with professionalism and resilience.
Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director-ORIC, appreciated the speakers for their valuable contributions and commended Engr. Shehzad Khan for his efforts in developing Aerovolt Systems. He highlighted UWBIC’s role in promoting entrepreneurship and encouraging students to pursue innovative business ideas. The workshop concluded with certificate distribution and a group photograph.
