Department of Psychology, University of Wah, organized a Peace Walk on 05 August 2026 to observe Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir and express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) while promoting the values of peace, justice, and human rights.
The walk led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, was attended by faculty members, staff, and students. Participants carried placards and banners conveying messages of peace, unity, and support for the Kashmiri people while highlighting the day's significance.
The activity encouraged participants to show the importance of humanity, social responsibility, and peaceful coexistence. It also served as a platform to raise awareness about humanitarian concerns and reaffirm the university's commitment to civic responsibility, social harmony, and community engagement.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge by participants to uphold the principles of peace, human dignity, and justice, reinforcing the Department's dedication to fostering responsible citizenship and community awareness.
