Wah Business School, University of Wah, organized a Foreign Faculty Lecture on 22 June 2026, jointly coordinated by Mr. Qamar Ishtiaq and Dr. Saif Ullah Khan. Dr. Waranaya La-Ongsri and Dr. Waeewan La-Ongsri, Senior Lecturers from the College of International Business, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Thailand, delivered the session.
The lecture, titled “Family Firms and the Emerging Markets of South East Asia,” focused on the growing influence of family firms in the emerging stock markets of South East Asia and the contingent agency problems associated with them.
The session was highly interactive and insightful, providing students with valuable exposure to contemporary managerial challenges and international academic perspectives. It concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, enabling students to interact directly with the distinguished speakers.
