University of Wah organized a specialized training session titled “Work-Life Balance - II” on 07 May 2026, under its ongoing Positive Solution Training Series to enhance faculty members’ professional and interpersonal skills.
The session was conducted by Dr. Attique Raza, who highlighted the psychological and spiritual foundations necessary for maintaining harmony between professional responsibilities and family life. He emphasized that a successful family serves as the cornerstone of society and identified tranquility, love, and mercy as the three essential pillars of a stable home.
The training also focused on the “Love and Logic” parenting approach, encouraging balanced parenting by avoiding overprotective and overly controlling behaviors. Participants were introduced to practical techniques such as offering choices rather than commands, practicing empathy, and allowing natural consequences to guide learning.
Addressing interpersonal relationships, Dr. Raza discussed effective conflict-resolution strategies and stressed the significance of non-verbal communication, noting that tone and body language play a dominant role in effective interaction. Faculty members were further encouraged to develop a Family Mission Statement and establish regular family meetings to strengthen relationships and foster emotional resilience.
