Department of Computer Science, University of Wah, hosted a group of faculty members and students from Mashal Degree College in an academic visit aimed at promoting awareness of computing education and future career pathways.
The visit began with a formal presentation by Ms. Isra Naz and Ms. Munazza Bibi, lecturers who introduced the Department of Computer Science and highlighted its academic programs, learning environment, and research opportunities. The presenters also briefed students on admission prospects and academic growth within the discipline.
An informative session on emerging and trending fields in computing followed, during which students were guided about future academic options, technological advancements, and career opportunities in computer science and related domains. This session provided valuable insights to help students make informed decisions about higher education. As part of the visit, students toured the departmental computing laboratories, where they observed available facilities, modern computing resources, and ongoing academic and practical activities. The exposure allowed students to gain firsthand experience of the department’s infrastructure and learning environment.
