Training Session for Selected Alumni Engaged by National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK)

Friday, January 30, 2026

University of Wah (UW) Alumni Office organized a one-day training session for selected alumni engaged by National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) Pvt. Ltd. on the Rawalpindi Ring Road Phase-II project. NESPAK has hired 17 UW alumni from various departments as enumerators to conduct a Household Integrated Economic Survey (HIES) in the Islamabad Territory, providing valuable field experience and strengthening industry–academia collaboration.

The session was led by senior NESPAK officials, including Dr. Muhammad Ali Awan, Mr. Jahanzeb Hassan Khan, and Mr. Khurram Rehman, who shared technical guidance and professional insights. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, A/Dean of Social Sciences, highlighted the role of such initiatives in enhancing professional development and career prospects for social sciences graduates. Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director ORIC, emphasized UW’s commitment to sustainable industry linkages, while Dr. Asma Arif and Dr. Syed Tahir Hussain Shah expressed gratitude to NESPAK for enabling the opportunity. The training is a testament to the Alumni Office’s continued efforts to enhance graduate employability, practical exposure, and long-term institutional partnerships.
