Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, Chairperson, Department of Psychology, University of Wah (UW), participated as a guest speaker in a community-based academic activity outside the University by delivering a lecture titled “Stress Management for Religious Scholars” on 27 January 2026 at Muhammadi Masjid, Islamabad.
The lecture was organized under the Young Ulema Leadership Program (YULP) in collaboration with Ataleeq Trainings. The session focused on understanding stress from a psychological perspective and introduced practical stress management techniques relevant to the professional and social responsibilities of religious scholars. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan highlighted evidence-based coping strategies, emotional regulation, and the importance of mental well-being in leadership roles.
The lecture successfully fostered dialogue between psychology and religious scholarship, demonstrating the University of Wah's dedication to community service and applying psychological knowledge beyond academia. These engagements enhance the University's mission of promoting mental health awareness, interdisciplinary collaboration, and societal well-being.
