Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, also attended the opening ceremony and presented a University souvenir to the honorable guest. 130 students from across Pakistan, representing 15 universities, 20 colleges, and 5 schools, participated in the event from reputed institutions, including Bahria University, UET Taxila, International Islamic University Islamabad, Iqra University, CUST Islamabad, HITEC University, COMSATS University Wah Campus, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, University of Wah, and other higher education institutions. Media Fest 3.0 comprised a diverse range of competitive and exhibition-based activities designed to enhance students’ professional competencies. These included photography and videography competitions, calligraphy, sketching, and painting exhibitions, as well as interactive challenges such as scavenger hunts and cube challenge games. These activities encouraged critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication among participants.

The event concluded with a dignified closing ceremony, where Prof. Dr. Asim Karim, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, distributed certificates and shields to the participants, commending their enthusiasm and dedication to the winners. The closing session was further enriched by a literary and cultural segment, featuring a poetic recital by renowned poet Danish Naqvi, followed by student performances and a qawwali session, which added a vibrant cultural dimension to the event. With its comprehensive blend of creativity, intellectual engagement, and cultural expression, Media Fest 3.0 reflected the University of Wah’s commitment to holistic student development, youth leadership, national cohesion, and the promotion of inter-university collaboration at the national level.
