Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, met His Excellency Dr. İrfan Neziroğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Pakistan, on 04 November 2025 in Islamabad. During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor briefed the Ambassador on the University’s academic progress, research initiatives, and international collaborations.
The discussion centered on areas of mutual interest and future avenues of cooperation between the University of Wah and leading Turkish institutions. Dr. Mehmet Toyran, Education Attaché, Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye, was also present during the meeting. The Vice Chancellor extended a formal invitation to His Excellency to visit the University of Wah at his convenience.
The University of Wah deeply values its strong academic and cultural ties with Türkiye. Over the years, the University has organized three Pak–Turk International Conferences on Emerging Technologies in the Field of Sciences and Engineering (2021, 2022, and 2024), and in 2023, it co-hosted the event at Karabuk University, Türkiye, contributing to the earthquake relief efforts. The University has also signed Memoranda of Understanding with four leading universities in Türkiye to promote academic exchange and joint research initiatives.
His Excellency’s anticipated visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral educational relations and foster greater collaboration between the two brotherly nations.
