Department of Biosciences, University of Wah, organized a seminar titled "Sustainable Health and Sustainable Diet under SDG 13" on 30 May 2025, focusing on the connection between human health, dietary choices, and sustainable agriculture. The event featured Dr. Joham Sarfaraz Ali, a renowned expert from NUMS University, Islamabad, as the guest speaker. In her compelling talk, Dr. Joham highlighted the pressing need to integrate sustainable dietary practices into everyday life as a strategy to combat climate change and ensure long-term food security. She emphasized the role of policy, education, and research in supporting sustainable practices under the framework of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action).
