Department of Psychology, University of Wah, organized a Mental Health Camp for the general public in collaboration with Alif Rehabilitation Centre, Wah Cantt, on 01 June 2025. The event aimed to promote mental health awareness and provide free psychological assessments and counseling services. Students of Advanced Diploma in Clinical Psychology (ADCP), Semester II, actively participated in the event alongside faculty members. Their involvement played a vital role in offering mental health screenings, counseling sessions, and informative discussions with attendees. The interactive sessions were well-received, highlighting the importance of mental well-being and the role of early intervention.
The collaborative effort between Department of Psychology and Alif Rehabilitation Centre was praised for its community impact and student engagement. The event offered valuable services to the public but also provided students with hands-on experience in real-world clinical settings.
