An Accreditation Inspection Team from the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) visited Department of Computer Science, University of Wah (UW), on 29 May 2025, for the evaluation and accreditation of the BS (Computer Science) and BS (Artificial Intelligence) programs. This visit marked the seventh accreditation review for the BS (Computer Science) program and the first-ever visit for the BS (Artificial Intelligence) program, which is preparing to graduate its first batch in July 2025.
The team, comprised of Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz (Convener), Dr. Farooq Ahmad, and Dr. Muhammad Asif, began the visit with a formal meeting with Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor-UW, followed by a comprehensive presentation by the Chairperson, Computer Science Department, highlighting the department’s academic progress, achievements, and program details.
The committee also toured the university's infrastructure, including classrooms, computer labs, the library, and sports facilities. During the visit, the team interacted with faculty and students from both programs, gathering feedback and insights on the learning environment and academic standards. Department of Computer Science expresses its heartfelt appreciation to all faculty, staff, students, and the University administration for their support and collaborative efforts in achieving success.
