The Business Leadership Professional Society, University of Wah, organized an educational visit to the Directorate of Media and Publications for students of the Ions School System (Ashraf Campus) in connection with World Press Freedom Day on 30 April 2026.
The visit aimed to provide practical insight into journalism and broadcasting. Students learned how news is produced and delivered while gaining awareness of the media’s role, freedom of speech, and the importance of accurate information.
Mr. Umar Hayat Khan highlighted the role of media in the digital and AI era, while Mr. Usman introduced students to the basics of digital marketing. The visit offered valuable exposure to modern media practices and enhanced students’ understanding of responsible journalism.
