Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Dean faculty of Management Sciences, University of Wah, participated in the Pakistan Governance Forum 2026, held at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad, on 25-26 February 2026. In the forum, he moderated the thematic session titled “Exports Hub” under the theme “Mission $100 Billion: Who Owns the Export Agenda?”
The forum, organized by the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives in collaboration with URAAN Pakistan, brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and development experts. The session featured a keynote address by Mr. Nadeem Javaid (VC, PIDE), Mr. Imtiaz Rastgar (Chairman, Rastgar Engineering Company), Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed (Member, Economic Policy/Planning/CE, Planning Commission), Mr. Naveed Aziz (Principal Consultant, Oxford Policy Management), and Syed Hamid Ali (Special Secretary, Ministry of Commerce).
The discussion focused on strengthening Pakistan’s export sector, enhancing global competitiveness, and supporting sustainable economic growth in alignment with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The participation highlights the role of academia in national policy dialogue and reflects the university’s commitment to contributing to governance and economic development.
