University of Wah actively participated in the Education Expo 2026 held on 26 February 2026 at Fazaia Education Systems, E-9, Islamabad. The expo provided a valuable platform for prospective students to explore higher education opportunities, interact with leading universities, and receive academic and career guidance.
Several prominent institutions also joined the event, including National University of Sciences and Technology; COMSATS University Islamabad; FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences; and Bahria University, creating a dynamic environment for academic engagement and information sharing.
Representing the University of Wah, the delegation included Engr. Muhammad Haroon, Deputy Director of Admissions WEC; Dr. Mehwish Jabeen from the Faculty of Social Sciences; Dr. Jahangir Khan from the Faculty of Basic Sciences; Mr. Afrasiab Sultan from the Faculty of Computer Science; and Mr. Abdur Rehman, Admissions Coordinator. The team set up an information and counseling desk where they interacted with students and provided detailed guidance on academic programs, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and career prospects across various disciplines.
Through these interactions, students gained valuable insights into higher education pathways and made more informed decisions about their academic futures. The presence of faculty members from diverse disciplines further enhanced the counseling process by offering subject-specific advice and professional perspectives. At the end of the event, Mr. Waqar Jandrani, Principal of Fazaia College, presented a commemorative shield to Engr. Muhammad Haroon, as a token of appreciation for the University of Wah’s active participation and contribution to the success of the expo.
