University of Wah (UW) and Karakoram International University (KIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 27 October 2025, marking a significant milestone in fostering academic collaboration and institutional partnership. Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah, and Engr. Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah, Vice Chancellor, Karakoram International University, signed the MoU during a ceremony held at the University of Wah. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Amjad Hassan, Director, ORIC-UW, along with the Deans of Basic Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Sciences, and Social Sciences.
The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by an introductory presentation on UW by the Director of ORIC. Both institutions engaged in insightful discussions, identifying key avenues of mutual collaboration, including:

As a gesture of goodwill, Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah signed the University of Wah’s Visitors’ Book and presented signed copies of his authored book to Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi and Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Dean Management Sciences. This collaboration highlights both institutions’ shared commitment to academic excellence, research progress, and sustainable growth in Pakistan’s higher education sector.
