The Department of Computer Science organized the following Faculty Development Programs including Workshops, Seminar and Training Sessions during Summer Semester – 2022.
A workshop titled, “Effective Research Proposal & Quantitative Research Methods” was organized on 5th July, 2022. The workshop aimed to provide research related guidance to the faculty members. Dr. Javeria Amin, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science was the Resource Person. She explained the Quantitative Research Methods which can be employed in the Research Proposal.
Another workshop on “Effective Teaching Methodology” was also organized on 5th July, 2022. The workshop intended to enhance the teaching capabilities of instructors using new tools and technology. Dr. Saima Jabeen, Assistant Professor from Pak- Austria Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, was the Resource Person. She gave a very fruitful demonstration on how the new tools can be incorporated during lectures and for assessment purposes. She also included small activities for the faculty members to make them familiar with the innovative tools.
A seminar was organized on “Architecture-centric Engineering for Cyber-physical Systems” on 15 August, 2022. Dr. Ehsan Ahmad from the College of Computing and Informatics, Saudi Electronic University, Jeddah, was the Guest Speaker. He explained the importance of Cyber-Physical systems and delivered a very informative presentation.
